Personally, I bought the lifetime version of focus in 2024. In October 2025, the developer still maintained email communication. Until the end of June 26, there has been no reply to the email sent. Please confirm with everyone whether you are also waiting for their reply.
Secondly, feedback here is the hard bug on the focus: multiple configuration files are switched, and the script content under the configuration cannot be locked and saved.
As a user, I can only passively wait for the developer’s response, or I can manually rewrite the core functions.
So the question will go back to the original point: In the current AI development, will there be any small applications that can operate for a long time?
It’s absurd:
Subscription system, annual paid purchase of update packages, developers are motivated, but there are few users who have the ability to order continuously; the buyout system cannot promise how long the update will take and whether the follow-up maintenance commission is open source
I hope that if subsequent developers can promise to update the operation time and whether to open source after the update, it will be the core consideration of whether our users support lifetime buyout;
Stop the service:
MacUpdater
Bee ,
Maybe Focus will also be added to this list.
