For Those of You that Spend Time with Old iPods

On Connected the gang talked about that its a shame there isn’t an Apple Music Enabled iPod Classic. Well there are ways around that.

I use the software that allows me to break the DRM on my Audible Books and it hasn’t failed me yet.

Obviously I am not condoning Piracy, only break the DRM if you have an active Apple Music Subscription.

As I recall when Apple started selling DRM free music, I was able to buy DRM free copies of my copy protected iTunes tracks for $1 each. But I can’t remember the last time I purchased any new music.

I see Tunefab takes Apple Pay :grinning:

You can just use libation https://getlibation.com to get the DRM of your audible books, and save a ton of money by the looks of it.

Welp didnt know this was a thing.

Do you know of an equivalent for Apple Music?

No, but I thought Apple music was all DRM free now

Purchased iTunes music is.
Apple Music tracks only accessible via subscription are not.

Software like this is piracy, sorry. It’s not legal to rip tracks from streaming services. TuneFab itself is sketchy.

Why not buy the music to put on your iPod? Albums are cheap on Bandcamp or other stores, artists really appreciate getting paid that way, and it’s drm-free.
