I am trying to set ForkLift 3 - Default File Viewer with Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 but the Default File Viewer commands in
ForkLift 3 - User Manual - most advanced file manager and FTP client for macOS Do not work correctly.
After I try the following command and restart clicking in a Dock folder>Options>Show in Finder does no do anything
defaults write -g NSFileViewer -string com.binarynights.ForkLift-3;
defaults write com.apple.LaunchServices/com.apple.launchservices.secure LSHandlers -array-add ‘{LSHandlerContentType=“public.folder”;LSHandlerRoleAll=“com.binarynights.ForkLift-3”;}’
ForkLift support send me this command to send the control back to Finder but after restart clicking in a Dock folder>Options>Show in Finder still does no do anything.
defaults delete -g NSFileViewer
defaults write com.apple.LaunchServices/com.apple.launchservices.secure
LSHandlers -array-add ‘{LSHandlerContentType=“public.folder”;LSHandlerRoleAll=“com.apple.finder”;}’
Is there any Mac user using ForkLift 3 as Default File Viewer with Catalina ?
Witch commands do you ue to turn if on and off ?
