Why is loyalty rarely honored? (I know it is the “almighty dollar”)
Loyalty is a customer expectation. Not sure companies value it much these days as they are after trapping new bait.
Offering a free subscription for ineligible users should be banned. The companies shoukd do the due diligence of ensuring of the customer is indeed eligible and ONLY then offer.
They are wasting my time by as I have to read the fine print if it applies to me. Because sometimes offer is allowed for previous clients too. They are hurting my expectations by doing so. 
That’s the fun part isn’t it?
