I like FreeForm, but there always seems to be some problems that makes me not be able to use it.
For example; Look at the attached form. I want the connections to the grey boxes to the right, to be connected at their left side. FreeForm refuses this, and experimenting with curved or other lines just makes it worse.
Do you guys know of any solution to this stupidity? (one workaround is to draw manual lines)
That looks REALLY annoying. I’d hate that too.
I was hoping that FreeForm would do elbow connectors (the square ones). I had been looking for a good diagramming app as well. I need to make a bunch of flow charts and wanted something iPadOS and macOS native. drawIO is close. Probably 2 revisions from now, FreeForm will be perfect.
It does elbow connectors. Click a connecting line and you should get a pop up menu that lets you select between straight, curved or elbow styles. Or maybe you’re meaning something else?

Didn’t know it was called “elbow” connectors. However, when I tried that it looked awful, and not very smart.
I’d say that Apple have a lot to do before FreeForm can be my ‘go to sketch and brainstorming app’.
Imagine the progress Apple could make if they’d update Freeform more than once per year…
