Hello Everyone !!!
I am a new MAC user and have been trying to find a good programmer editor. I am trying find one that has as a similar functionality of Microsoft editor in Programmer Mode. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I would appreciate any help anyone can give me …

Perhaps this will meet your needs:
Visual Studio Code is a code editor redefined and optimized for building and debugging modern web and cloud applications. Visual Studio Code is free and available on your favorite platform - Linux, macOS, and Windows.
You can also search the forum for editors to find other possibilities.
Good luck and have fun.
(And welcome to the forum.)

BBEdit is the classic answer, with TextMate a more modern one. But you might be better off finding an IDE for the language in which you program. And you didn’t say what that was, did you?

Sorry I meant Calculator not Editor …
PCalc is likely what you’re looking for.

+1 for PCalc.
I’ve had it for longer than I can remember. I found an iPhone App Store email receipt from 2008 for it.
Or possibly Soulver, depending on the sorts of stuff he’s doing?
A text editor that has unit conversions, real and crypto currencies, totals, percentages, dates and times, time zones and variables. It integrates with macOS.

So calculating with or converting between dec/hex/oct/bin?
PCalc can handle that.
It’s very likely the best calculator on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.
The built-in calculator.app has a Programmer mode under View
Soulver is my favorite.
Pcalc+ is the most advanced.
