How can I make Halide my default camera app. Want to be able to swipe lockscreen to turn the camera on.
It isn’t currently possible to change the default camera app on iOS.
You might consider adding the Halide Widget to your Today screen to make it as easy as possible to get to Halide.
I’m a big fan of Halide as well. I’ve also been experimenting with their latest offering, Spectre. It’s very impressive as well.

Thanks. My current compromise is to put it on the menu bar. I’ve missed a shot at great images when I fumbled getting the camera up.
Going to look at the widget now.

This is why I can’t use third-party camera apps.
