No longer a 1Password user - I didn’t like the subscription- but if I were, I wouldn’t like the sound of this.

A bit more explanation. This is a sale of founder/employee stock to Halo, not a fundraising.

1Password have also been acquiring apps like Trelica. None of this seems like to increase focus on non enterprise users.
Just a password manager app but they make it too big to manage such a simple app.
Subscription is not for companies to bring more values for customers but for customers to feed a big company into obesity.
IMO, it appears 1PW is working to keep up with AI’s rapid evolution.
