I have a few actual friends in my social circle that still regularly use Instagram for Photos. Has anyone been able to RSS Instagram feeds to be able to pull them out of the app? Reeder as an all in one feed would be perfect if I could get Instagram.

You need something that scrapes Instagram. I used to do it with rss.app for clients. It’s a paid service. Most free services have stopped working over the years. You can test your feed without signing up here.
Wild speculation: could you script something like Lynx (terminal browser) to get the latest images every hour, then shove them into a locally hosted rss url?
