Hide desired extensions on iOS?

Hi, is there a way to hide some extensions on iOS?
For example .ooutline used by OmniOutliner

I assume it’s a security feature?

If you are referring to seeing the extensions in the Files app, you can, but not on an app-by-app basis. It is a universal setting:

i don’t think it’s a security feature. I think it’s more about some people say they are confused about file extensions and prefer not to know. Hence a setting in iOS as @Bmosbacker points out.
