My dad is considering getting a HomePod in replacement of my Sonos in our living room. My only concern with this at the moment is setting it up on his iCloud account, which will presumably only link his Apple Music Account and not those of the rest of the family? So only he can, for example, trigger playlists from a voice command.
Anyone can trigger playlists or command the Homepod to find and play a track or album, but I think you are asking whether you can trigger one of your personal playlists which are linked to a different account? I can’t see how you would do that other that import the playlist to the family account
