When I connect them via USB, the files on the Oculus aren’t visible on my Mac. I’ve attempted various troubleshooting steps without success.

First, welcome to MPU. Regarding the question. Most likely is that Mac doesn’t recognize file format. Possibly there is an app that acts as an in-between. Have you checked support pages on Oculus site?
