None! I wish I had a laptop! Oh well…
Yes @bowline could be another thread. I have not gotten there yet as I am still whittling down my Mac apps.
This task has been enlightening whereas evaluating duplicate function apps and also diving deeper into apps already in my library.
One such app is Popclip. The real value is in its extensions where it can send the highlighted text to many apps such as Scrivner, Ulysses etc.
Popclip is definatively a keeper and something I use daily.
Probably a few more months on this project as I keep on falling in those pesky rabbit holes.
Now I found an app that has two names All Things Done and Tomatoes Task Management. I sent a message to them to see which one that I can delete.
Recently I thought about an effective long term strategy in order to reduce the number of my Apps.
I found out I will just do a clean install every 2-3 years and then only will install Apps I need at that point and before installing the App I will think, whether I really need it (or could replace it with apples apps) or needed it in the last 3 years. In this way I dont hae to think constatnly about apps, but only once every 3years.
Thanks for sharing the Terminal code! I’ve only got 45 apps on my personal MacBook (I use a different one for work):
