The medium sized Photos widget has become a fixture on all of my devices - it seems to intelligently crop photos and has successfully drawn my attention to some shots that I had thought were mediocre but which look much better at 2:1.

I’m the other way, I had to swap it out for the large widget due to “cropping” important parts of photos out which annoyed me.
