A family member has an iMac Pro and is considering update to Ventura. This is listed as compatible macOS Ventura is compatible with these computers - Apple Support but that does not always tell the whole story, for example older hardware can overheat with newer OS. Does anyone have anything to report for or against?
I’ve got a family member running Ventura on a base level 21.5 iMac and it’s fine. The iMac Pro will handle it just fine. Just make sure of the normal things — have a backup first and make sure that any critical apps are ready for the new OS.

Current running Ventura on a 2017 27" imac and it runs just as well as Monterey and Big Sur did on the same machine.

I know 2 former customers running Ventura on their iMac Pros with no issues. Haven’t found any real issues with it. One did a fresh install and the other just upgraded from Monterey.
