iMessage on iPhone has a text missing but on my computer and iPad all is fine

I’m in a group text trying to get together with two friends. My one friend Camille started the exchange and I replied something like “the weekend works better for me”. Then our friend Kelly then said, “I think I am free Saturday”. Kelly’s message came through on my iPad and Mac but not my phone yet. I also restarted my phone. After Kelly sent her message Camille responded “awesome” which shows on my iPhone, Mac, and iPad. Any solutions or ideas? I wouldn’t want to miss a more critical message due to this error.

Are you running Messages in iCloud?

I am Chris, thanks for asking. Would it help if I maybe toggled it off and then back on? Should I power off and on my devices to see if that works?

Now today I looked and it showed up, go figure
