iMovie - pinch and zoom a picture in picture overlay not possible

Hi

I can’t pinch and zoom a picture in picture overlay video for some reason.

I can do a position and resize, but not pinch and zoom. It drives me crazy, and I’ve made a little screen recording of my problem, to better demonstrate (Unlisted Youtube video: https://youtube.com/shorts/YbdeDKLfPFg)

Can anybody tell me what I’m doing wrong?

I switched to Adobe Premiere for iPhone - case closed :slight_smile:
