I don’t understand the angst over email

First let me set the record straight – I am not being snarly nor a smart aleck. If anything I’m about to say comes across that way then I ask your forgiveness in advance. I completely understand the angst over email clients – I have plenty of my own. What I don’t quite understand is all of the angst about managing email.
