I thoroughly enjoyed this short interview with Tim Cook. I gained an even greater appreciation for him as a leader.

Interesting talk. I doubt I would’ve left a good job to join Apple only eight months after they had been saved from almost certain bankruptcy.
But it seems to have worked out well for him.

I accepted a free trial of Apple News+ a couple of weeks ago, and was immediately charged $12.99.
That may depend on your location. I am based in Germany. There is no Apple News in Germany, so Apple News URLs do either lead basically to nowhere (not available in my country/region) or they redirect me to the newspaper. After that, sometimes the newspaper does not let me through and sometimes it does, depending on… I have no idea. WSJ only requested to permit “all” cookies or set up an account. I permitted those lovely cookies and I was able to watch the video.
