Is anyone else having CarPlay connectivity issues with iOS 26? My connection keeps cutting out.
I had connect/reconnect issue all day Thursday. Haven’t been in that vehicle since. Back at work on the road tomorrow so I will check back here tomorrow to update and check for updates from others.
Yes, iOS 26 CarPlay sucks. I wish I hadn’t upgraded.
No issues for me and no issues when I used the public beta.

What CarPlay units are you all using? I haven’t seen connection issues–using wireless with Sync 4.
No connection issues so far. Only a minor display hiccup at first that worked itself out in a couple minutes.
If the problems continue, and you haven’t already tried it, deleting and redoing the connection setup might help.
I’m in a 2021 Mazda 6. I will say this is my first experience with CarPlay and it has been spotty on and off over the 4 years.

Out on the road today. No issues with connectivity disconnects today. Hopefully that is a good sign!

No carplay disconnect issues with BMW’s idrive 8.5.

No issues for me (Lexus ES). I am loving the new version due to the ability to add widgets.
