The YouTube icon in recents is frozen in place. Does not start the app either.
YouTube works from a screen icon.
Rebooted but the YouTube icon persists. Is there a way to get the icon to go away? … just wait for upgrades?
Can’t answer your question, but for privacy’s sake (and ad-blocking) I watch YouTube in a browser and don’t use the app. Recommended! 
I don’t see the YouTube icon in that dock - just the icon for Chrome. Perhaps restarting Chrome would work?
