IPad Magic Keyboard and Battery Drain?

I love using the Magic Keyboard with the iPad Pro. It has transformed my iPad into a true modular computing device.

But, I seem to be experiencing relatively rapid battery drain. For example, this morning when using the iPad exclusively for writing (iA Writer and a Google Doc) I’ve gone from 100% to 69% in 3 hours. I have not quantified or tracked this over time but this “feels” like much faster battery drain than I’ve experienced before.

Those of you who have the Magic Keyboard, have you experienced this? Or, is the reduction I describe above over a three hour period “normal”?

Back of the napkin math suggests this is pretty good and would still give you 10h, no?
