I succumbed to temptation, and traded in my Mini 5 for a Mini 6. I’m loving it so far.
Is anyone else running into the issue noted in this MacRumors thread, though?
Of course, since I’m posting about it, it’s behaving, at least for now. But for a while tonight the connection was frequently dropping out.
If the thread is correct, it’s an issue with the channel of the 5 GHz band (when I turned 5 GHz off, the Mini stayed connected to the 2.4 GHz band).
I use Eero, so unfortunately I have no control over channels.
Hopefully the issue doesn’t persist. I was just curious to know whether I have any company in this forum.
