Tortas Charger.
I’m intrigued by this charger, but I’ve never heard of the brand. Has anyone used one of these? And, I was assuming there should be mention of some kind of Apple certification, but I couldn’t find anything mentioned. Thoughts?
The USB-C charging specs are pretty standard at this point, so if you get a quality high wattage charger and a good cable, the device will go as fast as it can.
That said, this has a retractable cable and folding wall plug - two different finicky parts that can break prematurely.
I buy a lot of Anker stuff and don’t have any issues with it. I also have so no name Amazon chargers and they work fine with good cables. The no name cables have been much less reliable for me over the years so I stick with bigger brands.
I know Torras from their cases. They are well-made. I have no experience with their chargers.
Regarding the charger:
Unlike those cheap retractable cables that jam or snap after a few months, this system is engineered for over 10,000 pulls and tested to the point where it can literally suspend a suitcase.

The thing with those retractable cables is that they are great as long as they actually do retract. And eventually they won’t. Torras seems to be aware of that issue. Will it stand 10,000 pulls? If so: really nice design. If not…
Good luck with that charger. I think the only retractable device I’ve ever owned, that didn’t suffer an early demise, was a Stanley pocket measuring tape.
