iPhone organizing the screen too quick

Whenever I pickup the iPhone all icons start to wiggle way too easily. Same for changing the background on the Home Screen.

How can I change this?

I just tested Accessibility Settings → Touch → Haptic Touch and it isn’t affecting the long press time for icon jiggle, unfortunately.

Any chance you can learn to grab the phone from the side, or do a firm, full thumb press on the top of the screen (Face ID area) that shouldn’t register as a tap?

Thanks for the replies, yes she uses a case. Its they way she picks it up.
