Is anyone through the New Siri AI waitlist?

24 hours later, still in queue. Has anyone popped out the other side?

Still indexing here … for over 10 hours on an iPhone 17 256GB.
I’m in Australia, so it’s also a long walk!

Still indexing also. Suspect something hasn’t gone well with the new search features.

Might do a reboot.

Still indexing on a M4 iPad Pro. There’s a note when you search in Mail that indexing mail could take up to a week and depends mostly on having the iPad plugged in and on WiFi. (Maybe they’re unrelated, but the new index is supposed to be of everything, so I suspect that the overall “indexing” wont complete until all the Mail indexing has completed.

Still showing as Indexing in progress on my iPhone 17 Pro and 13" M5 iPad Pro. Both have been plugged in for most of the last 24 hours.

I’m guessing this is more a bug, I’ll report it via the feedback app.

No big deal to be honest, isn’t impacting functionality of my devices at all. I’m honestly amazed at the performance of the initial iOS/iPadOS/MacOS Beta 1, so responsive & stable.

Still also in the waitlist for new Siri AI.

Still on the waitlist for Siri AI. But I feel like I’ve been on the waitlist for two years (since WWDC24) and not just two days.

Indexing completed on my iPad this morning, (about 2 days after starting with much of the time plugged in and locked). Still on waitlist for Siri. And searching in Mail still gives me a message that it Mail might still be downloading additional messages (though it seems to have far more of them available already than it did before).

The verge has an interesting “Q & A” that includes information from the press briefing. Including this tidbit, it appears that Siri AI runs on PCC. And even the decision to run local or in the cloud is determined there?
