This comes upon the heels of updates for the three iWork apps. I’m considering switching away from Google Workspace due to poor compatibility with browsers other than Google Chrome. Does iWork have most of the features of Google Workspace?
I do not think they can be a complete replacement. Google Documents are more to support online editing and collaboration than anything else.
If you do not care about any of those, then MS Office would be my first choice then iWork.
There are so many considerations, like pricing and OS compatibility. So my advise here is not based on any strong foundations, just personal taste.
I use iWork for everything except if I’m working on a document with someone else. Then it’s google hands down.
