Is Mac Dictation Possible with BBEdit App?

Hi all,

Using Accessibility> Voice control I can dictate (on Monterey) into a text editor.

  • this works fine in Apple TextEdit App - however nothing shows up using BBEdit App?

Q: is there a way to set up BBEdit to accept dictation?

You are correct that BBEdit will not accept dictation with Accessibility-> Voice Control.
(Although perhaps there is some secret BBEdit incantation)

However if you use Keyboard-> Dictation, BBEdit will accept dictation.
