Just saw my first Vision Pro TV ad during Wildcard Football Playoff Game

The ad used a scene from Back to the Future. “Where we are going we don’t need roads.“

I’m not at all interested in the VP, but I agree, that is a great ad. It seems to me they are trying to “normalize” the wearing of a headset, make it “cool”. :slightly_smiling_face:

One of the big reasons I remember the iPhone launch ad (considering I was not an Apple person at the time) is that it featured Mister Incredible*. The Vision Pro ad does have another Pixar reference, this time to Up. I wonder if they avoided using a masking up clip from on of The Incredibles movies because it would have been too much of an on the nose reference to the iPhone ad.

*The Incredibles is one of my favorite movies.
