I’m currently playing with using Obsidian to write and organize a long form (novel length)

I tried that with Obsidian but I found managing the chapters to be a pain. I often need to move the chapters around (I’m writing a book on private school leadership) with a lot of citations from Endnote. Ulysses works better for me for this type of work.

I’m exploring the Canvas option instead of my current transclude the chapters which are notes into the main book note. But my writing doesn’t have very many external references or citations at this time. Whole thing of Obsidian to replace Scrivener is a WIP for me.
