Hi,

Does anyone know how to add an action to add text to a pre defined position in a MS Word Document? I would like to copy a reference into two places within a word template if possible please.

How is that position specified? Number of characters since the start of the document?

I have initially thought to use bookmarks within the document.

You can use Keyboard Maestro to insert text into specific positions in Word, but it can be tricky since Word doesn’t natively support precise scripting like some apps. A workaround could be using KM to simulate keyboard shortcuts to navigate to the desired spots (e.g., tabs or search for a placeholder text) before inserting the text.
