This repository is an awesome resource for Photos app manipulation
I’ve been doing my best to stick to daily notes in Obsidian. I’m loving the interconnectedness it provides and looking forward to building out the CRM-ishness which @MacSparky described in the Obsidian episode.
I ran into a ‘issue’ recently. Sometimes, what I’ve done in a day is summed up best in a photo and not text. It’s not really ideal to go into the Photos app and export the image, copying them into Obsidian and then linking them to my daily note.
So instead what I’ve done is created a couple of Keyboard Maestro Macros:
- Creates a markdown link based on the currently selected photo in Photos.
- Understands the link to tell Photos to open to a particular photo
- Here’s a video showing what I mean.
