I have to use a specific iPad for all of my work email and am constantly moving between my Mac and this iPad. It’s hugely convenient to just drag the mouse cursor between the 2 displays and use a single keyboard in both places, but after a few hours not using either machine I come back to find the link no longer works - I mouse off to the side of my desktop monitor and the cursor just stalls against the edge of the screen. I have to restart my Mac, and sometimes also the iPad, to get it working again. Why is this so flaky? Is there a way to force it to maintain this connection? My System Settings / Displays settings show all 3 “Link to Mac or iPad” toggles turned on when the link is working normally and when it is not. I also find that Universal Clipboard is less than reliable between both, too, though I’m not sure if these issues are related. Any tips appreciated…!
