Looks like I picked the wrong day to give up iPad

(Bonus points for anyone who gets the reference)

My M4 MBA 13" has arrived and I’m loving being back in the macOS ecosystem for my daily driver.

What I forgot though, is the amount of money I’d invested over the years in iOS/ipadOS Software which doesn’t translate to the Mac.

I’ve paid today for Reeder on macOS, extended my subscription to the Universal level for Ivory so I can use it on the Mac, Luckily a number of other Subs are already universal, but I suspect that there will be several more purchases on the Horizon over the next few days.

And @MitchWagner wins!

For anyone who doesn’t get it, this is a reference to the comedic film Airplane! (1980), where the character Steve McCroskey repeatedly says, “Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit [drinking, smoking, amphetamines, sniffing glue]” as the situation becomes increasingly stressful

BTW,I would pay for Reeder (Classic) 100 times over.

The new Reeder version is comically bad. It’s insult to everything sane and humane. The worst design turnaround for any app in the history of mankind.

You’re making me happy that I still have Reeder version 4.1.4 running on my M4 Mac mini. :slightly_smiling_face:

Reeder 5 is great. “New reeder” is trash.

Good to know, if I ever lose access to my copy of version 4.

Version 4, however, continues to meet my simple needs. :slightly_smiling_face:
