Hello,
in iOS13 there is a “hidden” toggle to enable the Low Data Mode. This setting is supposed to help decrease the amount of mobile data the phone downloads on cellular or in personal hotspot mode.
Did anyone test it or measured it in any way? I wonder if it forces the apps to use lower resolution images or if it is a simple “recommendation” for apps to switch to low data mode and apps have to implement this in any way.
So, what exactly does this toggle do?
