I’m moving up from a 13” M1 MBA with 8GB of ram and 256 GB of storage to a 15” M3 MBA with 16GB of ram and 512 GB of storage. As a university professor and jazz musician I found some pain points with the M1. That isn’t to say I haven’t found it, for the cost, to be the best laptop I’ve ever had to use out and about (I have a M1 MBP connected to a Studio Display as my desktop configuration). I have! Quite excited to get the new M3. Apple is giving me more that half of what I paid for the M1 in return. Anyone else getting an M3?

THAT’S AWESOME!!! and can’t wait to hear about the difference experienced. I also have a MBA M1 and am considering pulling the trigger.

This year is computer upgrade year for me at work and I’m thinking about getting a 15" M3 Air. They’re more expensive than what I get to spend so I have to work out if it’s something that I can swing this year, or if I have to wait for the next budget year (April).
