I need to send professional-looking emails from my Gmail account. GMail formatting is not good enough so I’ve switched over to Outlook client. That provides more options and the formatting is better but Gmail still mangles the formatting sometimes. Assume this is GMail converting RTF to HTML email.
What’s best way to fix this:
is there some configuration so that Outlook server “sends” my Gmails?!
are there certain formatting options I should limit myself to so that GMail stops mangling it?
are there other providers that will support RTF end-to-end? Would Proton?
How are others here managing professional email accounts on Gmail platform?
You can create custom templates in Gmail but ultimately the recipient’s email client determines how an email is displayed. AFAIK Outlook still uses MS Word to render emails which causes a lot of problems.
Outlook doesn’t really work well with any email service except Microsoft-branded services. In 1995, it was called Exchange Client and it’s never strayed far from those roots.
You might want to try eM Client or Thunderbird, if you want better formatting then Gmail web service offers. Oh, Mimestream might be another choice; only works with Gmail. Highly recommended by others on this site.
