Good morning friends. My daughter’s 13” MacBook Pro (with Touch Bar) has begun exhibiting strange audio behavior. With no warning, the audio (driver?) gets corrupted such that the output volume gets very low despite the volume setting and the microphone input level similarly drops.
Rebooting resolves, until next occcurence. I see no pattern of recurrence… in some cases it has gone a week or two without symptoms, in other cases more frequent recurrence.
She’s up to date on latest OS version. We’ve reset NVRAM. Not sure what else to do to troubleshoot prior to making a Genius Bar appointment.
