One of my colleagues has a MacBookPro where the haptic feedback on the trackpad isn’t work. I’ve checked settings - all fine. The trackpad works, just no feedback. He doesn’t mind either way although it bugs me when I show him something - anything else I can check before making a genius appointment?

I’m having this issue with a stand alone Trackpad connected to a MB Air. The trackpad on the laptop works fine with haptic feedback. The bluetooth connected one has stopped providing haptic feedback - it still works as a trackpad though. My muscle memory cannot handle this! The link above no longer works. Any ideas?
