This is a relatively minor quibble, but it bothers me that when a notification pops up saying that I have updates available in the macOS App Store, clicking the notification just makes it disappear, rather than opening the App Store, or offering a choice. Has that always been the case? I feel like I remember it behaving differently in years past. Software Update, on the other hand, does offer an actionable choice.
I’m seeing this bug also, and it’s not just for the App Store. Before, I could click notifications for my web browser and they don’t work now either.
I presume it’s a current MacOS issue.
