March 2025 : Recent 'Keep It' Support Experience? Six Days And Waiting For Reply

I understand the author of ‘Keep It’ is probably a one person operation. However, I have had a support question in since March 6th. It is now March 12th. Am I being unreasonable with my expectation of time frame for support response?

That doesn’t sound unreasonable. I’ve not needed support for it in a long time, but recall a day or two to get some kind of response was normal.

As a solo developer just now expanding to have some more folks I typically batch support questions and answer a bunch once a week or so unless it’s a crash error. Those I will try to handle as soon as I can but I am also a farm and if we have stuff to do with the sheep or irrigation all SW support comes last.

I try to respond that I got the message and will look into it but there is no guarantee I can have an answer back within a week. Now if it is a larger company that is different. For most companies I’d expect a response in 3-4 days. But I probably won’t get a full answer for several weeks even from a big company.

He’s always responded quickly to me so could just be that life got in the way this time. That’s one downside with solo devs.

I just got a reply to a Pathfinder query after 11 months, so could be worse.
