My Struggle with Markup
A few days ago I decided to finally learn to use markup. I still don’t find it terribly easy to use either on the iPhone or the Mac, but it is useful and powerful. I presume my issues with it are just a quirk of my personality. Surely no one else has such difficulty with it.
One very cool trick
This morning I was watching yet another YouTube video - this one in a language I am learning, and I saw something I had not seen in any of the other many videos I had watched.
On the iPad or iPhone
The trick does not seem to work on the mac, but it works on the iPhone, and the guy in the video says it will work on an iPad:
- Invoke the markup tool in a note (in this example).
- Use a drawing tool.
- Draw some semblance of a geometric shape: a line, an arrow, a pentagon.
- Do not lift your finger until the app transforms your scribble into something perfect.
