I love the space, and the convenience that the apps are easy to reach with my right thumb.
This is my first post in the forum, and being a musician, conductor and teacher that’s a real nerd, I love the MPU podcast and this forum.

Welcome to the forum, Sarah! Nice layout.
I’ve been using a minimalist layout for the last couple years, though it’s only been a few months since I put Messages in its alpha group. Works fine for me this way and I like having Drafts and OF as a visual reminder to use those two apps in particular.
I am obviously missing something here. How do you prevent app icons from automatically ‘snapping’ to the top of the screen?
You make your background black and put a bunch of “add to home screen” shortcuts from this site.
