I have 1Blocker and AdGuard and they all basically seem to do the same. It’s no like content blocking offers much differentiation in terms of what an extension developer can do. So it all boils down to pricing, UI, built-in rules… again, they seem the same to me so I’d say you are fine.
In terms of whether you need to be using something in addition to that… well, that’s another story and it has been discussed recently in this other thread, including the need of using a VPN or not.
For the record, I am just using iCloud Relay and 1Blocker.
My tip: only use one content blocker, do not mix them otherwise if you need to fine tune the rules you have two apps too look into.
