I personally don’t care, but @ismh86 is not alone in his disdain for the new finder icon.
I propose to nickname it Braveheart.

Oh no, that’s terrible!

The new Preview icon bothers me much more.
I didn’t think I’d care until I looked at it. My eye perceives the blue side of the face as a shadow. That shadow makes perfect sense when the nose is white, whether you perceive the image as two faces or one. It makes no sense when the “nose side” of the image is the blue “shadowed” side.
Oh how I wish the finder icon wasn’t always in the dock - it’s a like a guest who overstays their welcome.
Two more icon redesigns I hate are Mail and Photos.
I missed that! I saw the new icon and thought, “Ugh, I hate how the sides are more translucent” and quickly moved on so I didn’t have to look at it any longer. It sort of reminds me of the wrapper on a glass dumpling.
I don’t like the Photos icon because I think the glass effect makes it look blurry.
omg, I didn’t notice it. it really hurts my eyes right now and I can’t point out why? it’s the same colors…
Immediately noticed it and can’t stop looking at it. It does seem wrong. In addition to the color swap, they made the dividing curve straight and then with the lighter border around the whole icon, all I can see looking at it is a blue 1.
And now that I’ve installed the beta, I’ve found another one I hate: Reminders. Yet another one with elements that look fuzzy.
