Kind of surprising since there is an event in March.
New Magic Keyboard supports all previous Air models of this form factor thankfully and adds a function row and glass trackpad. Unfortunately it just comes in white… To give credit to Apple, I bought my 11in Magic Keyboard for the 2018 iPad Pro the day they came out in March 2020 and I’m still using it with my M2 Air today and it would still work with this M3 Air.
The new Magic Keyboard also lacks a backlight and haptic feedback on the trackpad, both of which the previous one had – so Apple has taken away things as well.
I had to look at mine to confirm there was a backlight haha. That’s a shame. My Magic Keyboard does not have a haptic trackpad, it has a physical lever style click to it. I think just the new Pro keyboard has haptics so this is not a downgrade in that respect, but it definitely would have been nice if they had brought the haptic trackpad down to this new keyboard. (It may be in fact, but they don’t call it on the website).
Why does Fun Colors mean cheap. I love the base iPad Blue.
Did I miss an announcement. I’ve seen no announcement of an event, just Tim Cook saying that there’s Something in the Air on X
