I have a late 2016 15” MacBook Pro. I am running the Mojave public beta on it (loving it). I run Time Machine backups every day. I just ordered one of the new MacBook Pro’s which should arrive next week. Of course, it will have High Sierra on it upon arrival. Do I just do a Time Machine restore to get Mojave and my data onto the new machine, or is it more complicated than that? Thanks for any help!
I’d recommend registering your new MBP on Apple’s beta program, and update to Mojave before restoring your data. You’ll also then receive each beta update as it’s issued.
It seems you can’t install the current Mojave build on the 2018 MacBook Pro at all.. Presumably the next beta will support it, though.
