After latest update I see this when I lift phone, not sure how I feel about it yet or if it’s possible to get rid of? Anyone have any ideas?
Technically not a widget. That’s just the new Now Playing control, new in 14.2. I don’t think there’s any way to change it.

Thanks… I have not had music on in last few days which is why I found it odd! So not as much “now playing” as “please play” 
I’m not a fan either. I know what I want to play and I liked having the big artwork. This comes dangerously close to advertisement, I don’t give a mouse’s behind about top playlists.
I am sure I’m missing something. Is there a way to start play on whatever is currently paused from the new control?
Oh please. Use the correct anatomical term. You mean the Lightning charge port. 
At the moment I see a silver lining in being on call for work until Wednesday… I can’t upgrade my phone to 14.2 until at least then.

This view doesn’t seem to show up predictably, and seems to never show up if I lock and immediately unlock my phone. Does anyone understand the pattern?
