But cool never the less. 
The article (very well written!) covers several app, GeoShred is one of them. I think the “new” refers to “the era the iPad ushered”, not exactly 2024. I am not personally interested in the new types of expressiveness these types of apps can generate, but nonetheless this is a field worth exploring, one gets tired of more romplers, DX clones and virtual analog synths.
