Nisus.com off the air - They're live again

What’s going on??? I’d sure like to keep using Nisus Writer Pro.

If you had been following the Nisus forums (unfortunately no longer accessible) in recent months, you would have known that all was not well in Nisus-land. But there is nothing to stop you from continuing to use Nisus.

I actually have been monitoring them. Just sad to see it happen.

Seems to have gone not with a bang but with a whimper. Here’s the only thing I could find about the demise: https://www.outlinersoftware.com/topics/viewt/12456/0/has-nisus-disappeared

I only used it for converting RTF output from Scrivener into PDFs for printing while doing some editing for appearance. Luckily (?) I don’t foresee doing that again. IMHO all of these well endowed word processing programs are overkill these days for just about everything. TextEdit is usually sufficient, although I use Pages because it seems both simple and refined.

Nisus in the early days of ebooks, and pre-Mellel, was a crucial tool.I’m sorry it’s gone.

Sorry to see Nisus go. I did not even realize I had not re-installed it on my machines until I saw this post.

Nisus.com and the forums are back online; I just checked.
